Terms & Conditions of Vehicle Purchase
Effective Date: 1 January 2025
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a purchase. They explain your rights and obligations when buying a vehicle from Priceless Auto Services Ltd, whether you buy in person or remotely (online or by phone).
By purchasing a vehicle from us, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Distance Selling and Cancellation Rights
If you purchase a vehicle without visiting our premises (for example, online or by phone), your order will normally be covered by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, sometimes known as the "Distance Selling Regulations."
You have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day on which you receive the vehicle.
To cancel, you must notify us in writing, either by email to [email protected] or by post to the address above, no later than 5:30 pm on the 14th day following delivery.
3. Vehicle Return Conditions
If you cancel under the 14-day rule, you must return the vehicle promptly, in the same condition as delivered, with no more than 50 additional miles on the odometer.

The vehicle must remain taxed and insured until it is returned to our premises.

It must not be modified, damaged, or altered in any way.

You must not use the vehicle after you have informed us of your intention to cancel, except to drive it back for return.
4. Refund Process
Once we have received the vehicle back and completed our inspection, we will process your refund within 14 days. The refund period begins on the day we sign to accept the return of the vehicle at our premises.
The refund will include the purchase price and any original delivery charges (if applicable), minus any deductions for:

Excess mileage over 50 miles (charged at £1.60 + VAT per mile).

Any damage or deterioration beyond what is reasonably expected from inspection or delivery.

Any agreed collection or transport costs if we recover the vehicle on your behalf.

Deposit non-refundable, except as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We will notify you of any such deductions in writing before processing your refund.
5. Return and Collection
You may arrange your own return transport or request that we collect the vehicle.

If we collect it, we will inform you of the cost in advance, and this will be deducted from your final refund.

If you return it yourself, you are responsible for ensuring it arrives safely and undamaged.

Refunds cannot be processed until the vehicle has been received and inspected by our team.
If a refund is delayed due to an insurance claim for damage during return transport, payment will not be made until we have received settlement from the relevant insurer.
6. Delivery Policy and ID Verification
For fraud prevention and GDPR compliance, vehicles can only be delivered to the home address provided and verified before delivery.
You will be required to provide:

A valid UK driving licence; and
-
A proof of address (such as a utility bill or bank statement).
We cannot deliver any vehicle until your identity and address have been confirmed.
7. Delivery and Failure to Take Delivery
Delivery times and dates will be pre-agreed. If you fail to take delivery at the arranged time or place, you will be liable for any resulting transport or storage costs.
In the event of cancellation after the vehicle has been dispatched, delivery and collection charges will be deducted from your refund.
8. Vehicle Condition and Usage
Vehicles are supplied as described at the time of sale. You must not alter, modify, or remove any parts or accessories before the return period has expired. Any such modifications will void your right to cancel and may reduce your refund.
9. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
-
Any matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude liability.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, inconvenience, or travel costs.

11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
12. Vehicle Repairs, Collection, and Storage
Once repairs have been completed and the customer has been notified that the vehicle is ready for collection, the vehicle must be collected within 5 working days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Vehicles that are not collected within this timeframe may incur storage charges of £25 + VAT per day, starting from the sixth day after notification.
This policy applies to all vehicles, including those undergoing standard repairs, warranty work, or repairs carried out as part of a complaint investigation.
The estimated repair timeframe varies depending on the complexity of the work required:

Routine or minor repairs: typically completed within up to 30 days

Complex or technical repairs requiring specialist parts, diagnostics, or external assessments: may take up to 6 months
While we make every reasonable effort to complete repairs promptly, we are not liable for delays caused by parts availability, supplier issues, insurance or warranty authorisation processes, or circumstances beyond our control.
If the customer fails to collect the vehicle after reasonable written notice, Priceless Auto Services Ltd reserves the right to take appropriate legal or recovery action to recover outstanding costs or storage charges.
